Stroll around the canals, or take a boat trip and admire the architecture. Le Meridien Apollo is a stone's throw away from the newest and most exciting of the four squares in Amsterdam, the Museum Square (promoted as the "Cultural Heart of Holland"). Here you will find a wealth of wonderful art and antique boutiques, not to mention upmarket shopping streets. Visit the world famous Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh Museum and the open air "Albert Cuyp" Market, which are a ten-minute walk away from the hotel.
